Lamp

Lamp AI / AI assistant

Lamp · The Code Lawyers

An AI assistant that works with your team.

Lamp brings conversations, private workspaces and supported actions together. Instead of starting from an empty chat every time, you can work with your notes, files and the context you have already saved.

What is Lamp AI?

Lamp is the AI workspace assistant made by The Code Lawyers. It can work in your team’s chats, connect with your business software, or be integrated into an app built for your organisation. Access and deployment are arranged with the team; this website is a product tour, not a public chat service.

Private memory and workspace files

Each person has their own workspace, notes and journal. Lamp can help read and write supported workspace files and recall saved context. Other users cannot ask Lamp to read your private notes. Your deployment’s server administrators manage the underlying hosting, so confirm storage, retention and deletion arrangements before starting.

From a conversation to a supported action

For connected Jira work, Lamp can search and read tickets, create and edit issues, add comments, assign people and move status. It reads before making a change and reads the result back. The connected account’s permissions still apply, and there is no ticket deletion tool. When essential details are missing, Lamp asks for them.

Working in shared channels

Lamp can take part in shared team conversations as well as individual chats. The chat integration and the assistant inside Colyf have separate identities, memory and tools. Choose the setup that matches where your team works rather than assuming every integration has the same capabilities.

Choosing an AI assistant for your organisation

Start with the tasks you want to support, the systems that hold your information, and the permissions each person needs. Ask who operates the server, which model providers process requests, and how data is retained. Lamp does not train models itself; provider API terms apply. Check important answers and review proposed changes.
